Now I can read this to my students instead of telling them why they should perhaps disregard the editing notes they received in their English class. When I present in English classes at the high school, I always use the Johns Hopkins examples. The comments from admission are all the context the students need. I totally agree that "personal" should also mean confidential. I'm particularly disturbed about the 3 "trustworthy independent web service providers" Why does Higher One need to receive student information from the application process? For example it is unclear how the need for financial aid affects the decision to waitlist students. Also unclear is institutional ethic of a college waitlisting thousands of students, when they historically have admitted an average of 10 from the waitlist in previous years.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6247264052886923232.post-82479959938906408772013-04-17T06:17:02.115-07:002013-04-17T06:17:02.115-07:00Thanks for your mention of McCombs School of Busin...Thanks for your mention of McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. Our school combines a top-tier academic atmosphere (including the world-class Business Honors Program) plus the vibrant, entrepreneurial atmosphere of America's Number One City for Business Growth, Austin, Texas. It's also one heck of a nice college community, with tons of live music, the SXSW festival, ACL fest, etc.! We invite your students to explore the possibilities at McCombs.
